NATURE OF THE SERVICE
What type of products do you handle?
We manage almost all types of products, except the dangerous products and those stored in negative cold temperatures.
As an example, we handle the logistics of the following products:
- Decoration objects or small furniture
- Gardening products
- Games, Toys
- Cosmetics, perfumes
- Medical equipment
- Shoes, Textile
- Carpets
- Electronic equipment
- Automotive / motorcycle parts
- Dry food or food stored in positive cold temperatures

Do you agree to work with small e-customers in phase of starting up?
Yes, it is actually the case with most of our customers. We believe we can grow at the same time as they do, it is a long-term, win-win partnership we wish to establish. We are ready to find appropriate solutions to work together with them in the first phases of their development.
Our company deals with important peaks of activities in the year, how can you manage these strong variations of activity?
During any peak of activity, we are capable of mobilizing, for operations with a manual emphasis, the necessary staff. It is one of our big strengths in the postal activity that we take advantage of in our logistics activity as well. Our IT software also allows us to handle significant peaks of activity, while complying with quality standards we are strongly dedicated to.
From how many orders a month can we work with Equip' Act?
We are capable of handling a variable number of orders per customer: for some of our customers, we treat a few orders a week, whereas for some others many thousands a day. We answer any request whatever the volume and make an offer for any type of situation.
What the "massification" of the mail?
On a daily basis, Equip' Act receives from its customers (letter shops, printers, postal services) mails sorted out in a given order. Equip' Act controls and sorts them, prepares bundles and put them in containers. The whole traffic is then forwarded into La Poste distribution network which covers 7 main areas in France. Equip' Act takes advantage of this volume effect to reach a high level of sorting: it is the principle of the "massification". This grouping of mails of a different origin allows La Post to optimize the delivery of its mail around France.
CONDITIONING AND PACKAGING
Do you offer packaging solutions specific to our activity?
Every activity is specific and requires an appropriate packaging. Our experience on this field allows us to offer you appropriate solutions, whether a standard packaging or a packaging specifically created for you. We include in our offer a price adapted to every specific case.
GOODS STORAGE AND FOLLOW-UP
How do you manage the sensitive products or the one with a high unit value?
For the sensitive products or with a high unit value, we have in our warehouse in Lens a dedicated, highly secured picking area, that is fenced and video controlled. This provides a high level of security to your products.

Is it possible to benefit from a storage or orders preparation zone which is reserved for us?
Yes, we can allocate a physical space dedicated to your company on one of our sites. We also have temporary or permanent solutions of storage allowing us to adapt ourselves to your logistic project.
How can you guarantee the traceability of the goods? Can you handle significant reference numbers? How do you follow the serial numbers, the numbers of references, etc.?
Every transaction of your products is handled through our software Act and Go. We take a picture of every object which enters our site at the reception stage. We can manage the serial numbers of equipments and the reference numbers of the products. We are not limited in reference number to be followed. Once this information is introduced into our software, we can follow them up at each stage of the process: storage, packaging and shipping.
ACT and GO SOFTWARE
Your Act & Go software works “in real time". What does it mean?
A software which works in "real time" updates databases whenever an information is modified in the interface. For instance, an order made through your Web site is updated into Act & Go through a specific interface and can automatically be prepared in our warehouse. Real time process also allows you to make a direct consultation of data related to your products directly from your PC. Consequently, you can easily inform your customers about the latest status regarding the availability or the shipment of the products
Is Act and Go a web site?
The purpose of Act and Go is to manage in the best possible way the logistic flows which you ask us to handle. We are close to web masters we can recommend that can develop your web site including a direct interface with Act and Go.
With what web sites are you interfaced?
With most of them. Data exchanges between the systems are generally made in XML or in CSV or by ftp file transfers. Our IT team is able to make a quick assessment about the degree of compatibility between your site and Act and Go and to offer adapted interfacing solutions.

How fast do you deliver products?
Our commitment is: Orders received before 12 am are treated and shipped that very day.
Which carriers do you use?
For the sending of the small objects for a delivery to the customer at D+2 / D+4, we generally offer La Poste solutions (Collissimo, ColiEco) or the one provided by its competitor Adrexo at competitive rates. For all other needs, from the delivery in two hours by courier to worldwide express delivery, we have with certain carriers privileged relations, which allow us to offer you an appropriate solution. We regularly question these partners to insure they provide us with the best alternative at the best rate.
